Prior to joining StormHarbour in March 2009, Mr. Novak was a Managing Director at JP Morgan from 2001 until 2009 where he was a producing Fixed Income Sales manager.
He was responsible for the Generalist Sales effort in New York and an integral part of the group management team.
he was a top producing sales person within this business which was dedicated to broad range of taxable fixed income products.
In addition, with his extensive broad markets experience, he helped build and develop a successful Global Fixed Income Transition Management business.
In conjunction with a robust equity effort, they became one of the first and only transition managements businesses to offer both principal and agency execution in Fixed Income for ERISA and other Pension plans.
Before working at JP Morgan, he was a fixed income salesperson in the Generalist business at Morgan Stanley from 1995 to 2001, helping form the group at its inception.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, he started his career at Mabon Securities as a MBS specialist from 1991 to 1995.
Mr. Novak graduated with Honors from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
