Mr. Bird graduated from Stanford University with a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering, concentrating in Computer Science.
His interest in technology also led him to found a robotics team that designed robots capable of finding victims of natural disasters and competed successfully in the international robotics competition, Robocup.
He is an avid follower of the NBA and enjoys golfing and traveling.
