Copley is a Managing Director & Partner at Creative Planning LLC.
In this role he works closely with clients to identify their goals, analyze complex situations, and develop strategies and plans to meet their goals.
Areas of expertise include investment management, retirement and estate planning, tax, insurance, business succession planning and charitable giving.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, he was a Financial Advisor at a large national financial institution.
He worked closely with high net worth clients to clearly define their needs and goals and collaborated with business partners at the bank to deliver financial planning, investment, and banking solutions to meet those needs.
Prior to his role, he was an Investment Consultant and a Branch Manager at a large national financial services company.
As an Investment Consultant, he worked directly with clients to develop and implement investment, retirement, and estate plans.
He was also selected to be a member of the President’s Circle and was elected to the firm’s Leadership Council.
While serving as a branch manager, he supervised a staff of investment consultants.
He received a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance from Michigan State University and holds the Certified Financial Planner certification.
