Martin O'Callaghan

Mr. Martin O'Callaghan is Senior Portfolio Manager at Irish Life Investment Managers Ltd.
He is responsible for managing all issues arising from client investments with ILIM with focused responsibilities on the needs of defined benefit pension schemes.
He joined Irish life in 1993 as Legal and Technical Manager.
This involved dealing with all legal and tax issues arising from Irish Life's range of products and clients.
Mr. Ocallaghan has served as a Director of Irish Life Trustee Services Ltd and the Association of Pension lawyers in Ireland.
He has participated on many Pensions Board and Revenue working groups and he has also served on many IAPF committees.
He moved to the role of Investment Portfolio Manager in 1999 and his portfolio includes some of the largest defined benefit pension schemes in Ireland.
Mr. Ocallaghan graduated in Law from University College Cork in 1986 and then completed an LL.M (Masters in Law) in 1988.
He qualified as a barrister in 1990 and then spent three years as a legal consultant with Cawley Sheerin Wynne Solicitors.
