McDermott is Co-Founder, Chief Operations & Compliance Officer at Empirical Wealth Management LLC.
She is responsible for the business, financial and systems operations of the company.
In addition, she acts as the company’s Chief Compliance Officer.
In response to the compliance requirements of our industry, she has created and maintains an intensive internal compliance program that acts as an in-depth system of checks and balances to help protect our clients and ensure the safety and security of our internal processes.
Ms. McDermott co-founded Empirical Wealth Management in 2006.
She has several years of experience working with clients in the wealth management industry and especially enjoys working with women who are managing their finances alone.
Ms. McDermott is a Northwest native who graduated from Western Washington University with a B.
A degree.
She has worked in the investment industry since 1998, and holds the Certified Compliance Professional designation.
