Mike Gerber

Gerber is Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at FS Investments.
Mr. Gerber serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and leads the communications, investor relations and government and regulatory affairs teams.
He also oversees the firm’s corporate social responsibility and environmental, social and governance initiatives; leads FS’s diversity and inclusion strategy; and serves as President of the FS Foundation.
Throughout his tenure at FS, Mr. Gerber has overseen a number of other functions, including corporate development, product development, administration and the Office of the CEO.
Prior to joining FS, Mr. Gerber was a member of the Board of Directors for FS Investments’ third fund, FS Investment Corporation II, and practiced law at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, where he was a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group.
Mr. Gerber serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and is the Founding Chair of the Board of Philadelphia Financial Scholars, a high school-focused financial literacy and entrepreneurship program.
Mr. Gerber also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Equity Alliance.
Mr. Gerber earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude from Villanova University School of Law, where he received a scholarship award for his involvement in community legal services.
