The firm was founded in 1997 and is a subsidiary of Eurizon Capital SGR SpA, which is owned by Intesa Sanpaolo SpA (BIT: ISP) in Italy. Epsilon SGR manages discretionary portfolios, mutual funds, SICAVs and funds of funds invested primarily in European equity and fixed income for institutional clients and private individuals.

Pioneer Investment Management SGRpA (PIM) is the wholly-owned asset management subsidiary of Amundi SGR SpA, ultimately held by Credit Agricole SA (XP: ACA; ADR: CRARY) in France. Established in 1987, the firm is based in Milan and manages mutual funds and discretionary portfolios for institutional clients. The Pioneer Group was acquired by UniCredit in 2000.
