The Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd. (Private Bank HK) (HSBC Private Bank HK) is the private banking division of The Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd., ultimately held by HSBC Holdings Plc (NYSE: HSBC, LON: HSBA) in Great Britain. Headquartered in Hong Kong, HSBC Private Bank HK was founded in 2001 to offer a range of wealth management services to business owners and their families.

Fortis Investment Management Hong Kong Ltd. (FIM-HK) is the Hong Kong branch and a subsidiary of Fortis Investment Management SA (Belgium). Known under the commercial name Fortis Investments, the group is the asset management arm and a subsidiary of the banking and insurance group Fortis SA/NV (XB: FORB). Fortis Investments is headquartered in Brussels with a global network of branches in Europe, Asia and the US. FIM-HK was established in 2000 and was formerly known as PCI Investment Management Ltd. In 2007 Fortis acquired the Hong Kong-based insurance company PCI-Pacific Century Insurance Holdings Ltd., which was rebranded into FICA-Fortis Insurance Company (Asia) Ltd. FIM-HK manages the off-shore FICA investment trust, previously known as PCIIM and subdivided in a series of specialist funds including multimanager strategies. Following the merger of the asset management activities of Fortis and ABN AMRO worldwide, in 2008 FIM-HK absorbed ABN AMRO Asset Management (Asia) Ltd., which had been established in Hong Kong in 1991. FIM-HK's clients are institutions and high-net worth individuals.
