Parampreet is a Client Portfolio Manager at Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India) Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Parampreet is responsible for designing, managing and monitoring investment portfolios.
He has over 11 years of investment and research experience in the Indian financial services industry managing multi-asset, long only equity and absolute return strategies.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2017, Mr. Parampreet has been managing various investment mandates for a period of over 10 years at Edelweiss Group.
He served as Associate Director for Strategic Principal Investments where he managed multi-asset class strategies including illiquid investments, absolute return strategies and equity investments.
Previously he was Vice President and Head of Equities at Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd.
where he successfully managed multiple top quartile long only and absolute return oriented mutual fund mandates.
Before that he has successfully managed the long-short equity quantitative portfolios at Edelweiss Securities Ltd as a Quant Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Parampreet has a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
