Paul Vittone

As Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Vittone oversees the Innovation Investment Fund and Investment Associates team, helping Innovation Works to find, evaluate, and invest in the region’s most promising technology startups.
Prior to joining Innovation Works, he was a corporate attorney at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP, one of the region’s largest law firms.
At K&L, he concentrated on providing corporate, business and tax counseling to privately held companies, including representing clients in transactions involving equity and debt financing, formation and start-up, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and technology licensing.
Mr. Vittone has a B.S.
in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and a MBA from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University.
He is a member of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, the Allegheny Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Allegheny County.
