Mr. Das has over ten years of experience working in financial markets.
He has worked mainly in the alternative investments areas, particularly in commodities and hedge fund replication.
He has developed and traded hedge fund replication products using liquid exchange-traded securities.
He has also developed interactive web-based replication program that allows users to create customized replication portfolios with various assets.
Previously, he supported the Alternative Commodity Benchmark Index, a second generation commodity index, for almost seven years while working for Alternative Investment Analytics.
He was involved in designing long-duration commodity strategies and managed futures strategies using ETFs.
Mr. Das has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, and an MS in Finance from Clark University.
He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
