Hawkins is a Managing Partner at ASI Capital.
Mr. Hawkins has primary responsibility for strategic direction for all real estate transactions.
This entails structuring transactions including asset and stock purchases, tax-free exchanges, and limited partnerships with unique general partner promotes.
Mr. Hawkins oversees the development, underwriting, due diligence, deal structure, and asset acquisition strategies for the Company.
Mr. Hawkins is a Registered Investment Advisor and holds a series 65 license and has over 17 years’ experience in the financial industry.
He began his career as the financial director of a national non-profit organization before moving into mortgage brokering and banking.
He was a mortgage banker for over 12 years where he ended his career at one of the largest privately held mortgage banking firms in the U.S.
He was responsible for originating or oversight of over $250 million in residential and commercial loans during his career.
In 2009, Mr. Hawkins co-founded a Registered Investment Advisory firm specializing in alternative assets and consulting Investment Advisors, institutional investors and issuers.
Mr. Hawkins is a graduate of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, a non-profit institute that develops and trains emerging leaders across the country.
He has been a resident and studied on three different continents and has traveled to almost 40 countries including every continent except Antarctica.
This extensive international travel experience and exposure to diverse cultures and regions has given him a global perspective and business relationships around the world.
