Simon Gareth Moss

Simon Moss is Deputy Managing Director and a founding member of Gartmore Private Equity's team, which he joined as Investment Director in 2001.
He focuses on fund investments and direct co-investments, as well as portfolio planning and forecasting.
He has specific responsibility for buyouts, growth capital and venture capital investments in Europe.
Simon Moss leads due diligence on funds and direct co-investment opportunities, particularly for large and middle-market European buyouts.
As a long-standing member of the Investment Committee, Simon is critical to the team's investment selection and portfolio construction processes.
Simon also leads projects analysing both the sale and purchase of secondary fund investments.
Simon Moss is also responsible for certain aspects of the group's business development and client service offering.
To further develop a relationship with one of the team's largest clients, Simon worked for 18 months in their US office.
He reviewed and restructured the client's private equity programme, which is now worth over $1bn.
During this time he conducted a strategic review of investment opportunities in the US private equity market.
