Stephen D. McCarthy

Prior to joining Buchanan Street Partners, Mr. McCarthy was a Founding Principal and Managing Director of WestWind Capital Partners.
In this capacity, he was responsible for over $4.5 billion in acquisitions and the management of the firm’s investment portfolio from 2000 through 2007.
From 1995 through 2000, Mr. McCarthy was a Managing Director of Tishman Speyer Properties in London, England where he was responsible for a range of acquisition, redevelopment and asset management activities across the Western Europe.
From 1991 to 1993, Mr. McCarthy worked for Jones Lang Wootton Realty Advisors (now Clarion Partners) in New York.
He transferred to the investment sales division of Jones Lang Wootton in London in 1994.
Mr. McCarthy worked as a Vice President of Development for Forest City Ratner on MetroTech, a 3.5 million square foot office project in Brooklyn, NY from 1987 to 1991.
Mr. McCarthy graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1982 and received his MBA with honors from Columbia University Business School in 1987.
Mr. McCarthy is an active member of ULI, NAIOP, ICSC and NAREIM.
