Timothy J. McCain

Prior to joining SCP in February 2006, Mr. McCain began his real estate career in 1989 as a property manager at Duke Realty Corporation (NYSE:DRE) where he managed a 1.5 million square foot, $100 million portfolio of retail strip centers in Indiana and Illinois.
He later became a Property Manager for Duke’s industrial properties at Park 100 and Park Fletcher in Indianapolis where he was directly responsible for budgeting, cash flow monitoring, tenant relations and capital projections for 60 income-producing properties.
He moved to St. Louis in 1996 to head up Duke’s newly acquired 7 million square foot office and industrial portfolio valued at $50 million and was an integral part of the St. Louis acquisitions team which acquired an additional 4 million square feet of office and industrial properties between 1995 and 2000.
Prior to joining SCP, he directed the Midwest regional asset management function for New Boston Fund where he was responsible for monitoring the financial, leasing and property management activities for a 3 million square foot Class “A” office and industrial portfolio.
Mr. McCain holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business and Real Estate Finance from the Indiana University School of Business and is a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association.
He is a CPM and has held several positions with the Indiana and St. Louis chapters of the Institute of Real Estate Management including Vice President, Membership Chairman, Treasurer and was named Candidate of the Year in 1994.
Mr. McCain was the Corporate Affiliate Committee Chairman for the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors, was a member of the Indianapolis chapter of BOMA and currently maintains an Indiana real estate license.
His involvement in the community includes Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and the Brownsburg Little League baseball program.
