Urs Schubiger

Mr. Urs Schubiger is a Quantitative Strategist & Portfolio Manager at AQ Investment AG.
Since the beginning of 2017, Mr. Schubiger has lead the expansion and development of the Systematic Trading Group, which is in charge of Aquila Capital’s financial asset strategies.
Together with his team, he is responsible for the existing multi-asset strategies and the implementation of new systematic approaches.
He has more than 10 years of experience in the research, development and implementation of quantitative investment strategies.
Prior to joining Aquila Capital, Mr. Schubiger was a founding partner of pprime Capital and he was employed by the Swiss subsidiary of the American hedge fund Achievement AM.
Before this, he held management positions at Vescore, 1741 Asset Management, Wegelin & Co. Private Bankers and UBS O'Connor.
After studying law at the University of Basel, Mr. Schubiger studied mathematics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) and attained his Master's Degree.
