Wade Aust, CFA, is a Managing Director & Partner at Downer & Co. LLC.
Mr. Aust has worked in the international corporate development field since 1994.
Promoted to Partner in 2000, he has been instrumental in increasing the average transaction size at C.W.
Downer & Co. Mr. Aust pioneered the development of the firm’s “pre-marketing” divestiture process based upon his in-depth knowledge and experience with European sell-side transactions.
This process minimizes the client’s time in-market and enables the seller to proactively select buyers based upon market data.
In addition, Mr. Aust is responsible for leading C.W.
Downer & Co.’s Aerospace and Automotive practice groups, and travels extensively between the US, Continental Europe and the UK.
Mr. Aust received his bachelor's degree in Finance and Mathematics from Salve Regina University in 1991.
He has won numerous international windsurfing and sailing championships.
Mr. Aust has a working knowledge of the German language.
