Alec Barkett

Alec joined Greencoat in 2021 and supports Greencoat's Private Markets business development, investor relations and product strategy activities.
He has worked in the financial sector since 2013.
Prior to joining Greencoat, Alec worked at BlackRock in the Institutional Client Business for 6 years, focusing on business development in the public pensions team across private & public asset classes.
Before his time at BlackRock, he worked at Tradition providing derivative investment solutions to institutional clients in EMEA.
Alec graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA in Economics.
He is a CFA Charterholder, holds the CISI Financial Derivatives qualification and has a Post Graduate Certificate in International Business from St Mary’s University.
