Andy Simpkin

Mr. Andrew J.
Simpkin is a Partner, Head of Business Development & Investor Relations at Lansdowne Partners (UK) LLP.
He joined the firm in November 2005 and is a member of the Management Committee.
Prior to joining Lansdowne, Mr. Simpkin was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Cheiron Capital Management LLP, a global financials long/short hedge fund.
Prior to founding Cheiron in 2003, he was Head of Research, London at EIM, a global investment management organization specializing in the allocation of capital to hedge funds.
Mr. Simpkin began his career at J Rothschild Investment Management before moving to GAM (Global Asset Management) in 1996.
As a hedge fund analyst in the Multi-Manager Group, he was involved in analyzing and evaluating hedge funds for the European component of GAM's external hedge fund investments.
He holds a BSc in Banking & International Finance from the City University Business School, London.
