Annie Song

Annie is the Financial Planning Manager in LG Technology Ventures.
Prior to joining LG Tech Ventures, she has over 10 years of financial planning and analysis experience in construction, consumer goods, R&D, and service industries.
Annie started her career as Financial Analyst at her family construction business.
She was responsible for forecasting, monthly accruals, fixed assets management (depr), and capitalization.
After the work hour she also worked as a Research Assistant at University of Texas at Austin and researched importance of adequate riskless assets in balance sheet and why CAPM overestimates illiquid assets.
In 2012, she joined cosmetic start-up company, LeeAnni Eco as CFO and developed and reported financial budgets, monthly forecasts, and annual business plans in align with business objective, and assessed capital requirements and developed capital plans.
After she learned about system of business, she decided to join bigger corporation to learn about the processes.
Her first corporate experience started from LG Fuel Cell Systems where she worked as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
She built and managed annual budget according to the change of business strategy and performed detailed analyses and simulations on as-need basis for upper management reporting and also collaborated with Korea shareholders (LG Affiliates) and UK Rolls Royce Group treasury regarding investment.
She also managed orderly wind-down process of a corporation when shareholders decided to shut down the business.
After, she was transferred to LG Electronics and worked as Planning and Operations Manager where she was responsible for meeting CIC operational costs in financial objectives by providing insights across operations and total business performance.
Annie holds Master of Science Business Administration (Concentration in Finance) from Texas Tech University.
She loves outdoor activities and loves going to Dog Park with her husband and her dog, Choonja.
