joined Sify as Vice President in October 1999.
He has over 20 years of IT experience spanning software development, Networking and Infrastructure.
He began his career as a System Software Programmer, and was among the first to have developed multiprocessor-based applications utilizing the transputer chip.
He went on to develop hardware systems using distributed architecture and processes including Intel, Zilogue and Motorola.
He joined Sonata as a project leader and subsequently headed their CAD/CAM operations.
He moved on to Microland as Asst.
Vice President, software services.
His experience saw him providing consultancy services to the likes of STPI (Bangalore), Infosys and the Poddar group of companies.
He helped pioneer world class hosting services from Sify in the country by commissioning India's first Level 3 Internet Data Center at the Vashi Infotech Park, Navi Mumbai.
He is a B.E.
in Electronics & Tele communications from Bangalore University.
