Bamber Gascoigne

The Mary Roxburghe Trust is a charity organization that aims to restore the West Horsley Place, a Grade I listed medieval Manor House, to create a welcoming space for the community with arts, culture, community, history, and nature at its heart. The charity is based in Leatherhead, UK. The manor house was privately owned and occupied by Mary, Duchess of Roxburghe until her death in 2014. The charity was created in 2015 by Bamber Gascoigne and his wife Christina, who gifted the proceeds of three auctions of Mary, Duchess of Roxburghe's possessions to the Trust. The Trust has used funds to carry out emergency repair works to the manor house and installing essential services that would enable safe and comfortable public access to it.
