Bernhard Fachtner

Mr. Bernhard Fachtner is a Managing Director at Catella Real Estate AG and is responsible for back office activities.
Before this, he was Head of Legal, Tax and Compliance for UBS Real Estate Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, a position he held since 2004.
Prior to this (since 2002), he was Senior Asset Manager and Prokurist (authorised signatory) for the same company (which at the time traded under the name of Siemens Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH).
In this capacity, he provided support for a number of real estate commitments in Germany and abroad (including Zurich, Milan and Prague), as well as being involved in setting up foreign subsidiaries, equity interest management and financing issues.
He was head of the legal department of Munich’s Archdiocese Finance Office from 1995 to 2000.
He joined this organization from Siemens AG, where in 1990 he had assumed responsibility for investment properties and various real estate development projects.
After passing his second state law exam, Bernhard Fachtner started his career in 1987 as a lawyer in a Munich law firm.
