His prior business experience includes serving as a Senior Vice President of Brown & Root, Inc. (a worldwide construction company) in Houston, Texas and London, England and was a Senior Vice President of Weatherford International (a worldwide energy services company).
He was President and CEO of a Weatherford subsidiary acquired in a leveraged buy out in 1986.
Mr. Weatherly after receiving a Masters of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi he worked for Arthur Andersen as an audit manager in their Houston, Texas office for eight years prior to joining Brown & Root, Inc. in 1974.
He is a certified public accountant.
Mr. Weatherly has served as a director of Callon Petroleum Company (NYSE) since 1994 and currently serves on the board of several of the portfolio companies of the CapSource Funds.
