Mr. Ruby joined Oaktree in May 2007 after having spent over two and a half years at Countrywide Financial Corporation, most recently as a Managing Director leading the Operations Services and Business Transformation Groups.
Prior to that, he spent four years at Washington Mutual, most recently as a Senior Vice President, where he initially managed the operations, compliance, projects and technology functions for the retail broker/dealer.
Mr. Ruby previously held senior operational leadership roles at Home Savings and Bank of America.
Between those assignments, he was Chief Operating Officer for two start-up Internet companies.
Mr. Ruby received a B.A.
degree from Stanford University.
