Mr. Patterson graduated from Harvard College in 1970 and from Harvard Law School in 1974.

Carl McGowan, Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 1974 to 1975, Law Clerk to Justice Harry A.

Mr. Patterson is a Director of Campbell Soup Company, Florida Crystals Corporation, and Flo-Sun, Incorporated, the Chairman of Beaverkill Valley Land Trust and a Trustee of the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
