David Hurley

TEL Venture Capital, Inc. (TEL VC) is a venture capital subsidiary of Tokyo Electron Ltd founded in 2006 by Mike Yamaguchi and Tsutomu Awaji. The firm is headquartered in Fremont, California.

Since 1994 the engineers and scientists at Magnetic Solutions, capitalising on their experience in magnetic design, have developed expertise in the engineering and production of magnetic annealing technology using high strength magnetic fields. Using proprietary software along with computer simulation and modelling techniques, their furnace, vacuum and robotic systems are specifically engineered to integrate with these magnets to produce technology for data recording and semiconductor industries. Their annealing technology is used to process GMR/TMR devices used to produce today's read/write heads and other types of magnetic sensors and MTJ devices used to process MRAM, a non-volatile memory chip. They are committed to serving their customers through their world wide sales and service centres. They continue to innovate and add value by focussing their R&D efforts on the process and production challenges facing their customers.
