David M. Reed

Dr. Reed is currently president and chief executive officer of DMR Health Care Associates, Ltd., a consulting firm that provides strategic guidance to medical device companies as well as advisory services to venture capital firms.
Additionally, he holds senior management positions with four medical device companies, one of which he co-founded, and serves as medical director for the City of Norwalk as well as assistant director of public health for the Town of New Canaan.
Previously, for thirteen years, Dr. Reed was president of Fairfield Surgical Associates, a private practice in general, oncologic and vascular surgery at Stamford Hospital.
Dr. Reed’s career has also had national and international reach.
He has held posts including medical director of AmeriCares Foundation, an international humanitarian relief organization, and task force vice chairman for a national organization created from multiple health care groups to develop a consensus for national health policy.
