C.L. Davids Fond og Samling owns the museum known as the David Samling. Its purpose is to preserve and expand the holdings of the David Samling and to make them accessible to the public. In addition, it provides support for research intended to promote Denmark’s contacts with and an understanding of the art and culture of the countries. Its support can be granted to promote decorative art and an interest in the field, and for other non-profit purposes that the foundation’s board finds appropriate. The company was founded by C.L. David on April 1, 1959 and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark.
