Dr. Barrekette is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers, a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, and a member of The National Society of Professional Engineers, The New York State Society of Professional Engineers, The Optical Society of America and The New York Academy of Science.
Dr. Barrekette is the uncle of David B.
Schick, the Company's former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and the brother-in-law of Dr. Allen Schick.
