Murphy is a Managing Director & Asset Manager at Brookwood Financial Partners LP.
Prior to joining Brookwood, she was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The First National Bank of Ipswich, a publicly-held community bank in Ipswich, MA.
Prior to her seven years at The First National Bank of Ipswich, she was a Vice President, Senior Lender in the Specialized Industries Group, Transportation Division of The First National Bank of Boston.
In her 13 years at The First National Bank of Boston, she developed a specialty in analyzing and lending to surface transportation companies.
In that period, she analyzed, structured and managed a variety of senior and subordinated debt instruments.
In addition, she worked as a Senior Asset Recovery Specialist working with troubled borrowers to restructure credit and/or dispose of assets.
Ms. Murphy is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the recipient of the YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry Award for 1998.
