Beck, CFA, is a President & Chief Investment Officer at Beck Capital Management LLC.
Mr. Beck has led BCM since founding its predecessor firm in 1997.
His economics and statistical mathematics background guides his investment philosophy of Sector Rotation.
He began his investment career with a Wall Street based firm in 1978, later serving in analytic and management roles with a mutual fund.
In 1984 he launched a computer company based on a financial software program he developed.
The company was eventually sold to a national firm and Mr. Beck returned to the financial services business, founding his own wealth management firm in Austin in 1997.
During his career he has distinguished himself as an authority on investing.
Mr. Beck graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1977 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a minor in Economics.
