Helmut Struss

Helmut Struss, General Manager Asia Pacific Helmut Struss has established the activities of Siemens Acceleration in Communications in Beijing since 2001.
In this role, he has established a network throughout the region, securing a continuous deal flow and closed several investments.
Due to his extensive work experience and excellent customer relationships throughout Asia, he has provided valuable strategic support and expertise to Siemens Acceleration in Communications global portfolio.
Prior to his assignment in Beijing, Helmut Struss was assigned to manage the successful execution of Siemens complex telecommunication infrastructure projects in Australia and the Philippines.
In this role as Senior Vice-President in Thailand, he posted a significant boost in sales growth for his business unit and earned several accolades for his dedication and commitment to his work.
He has participated in several business development forums from around the world and has been a regular guest and panel speaker in important global telecommunication events such as the China-U.S.
Technology Association, Global Wireless Venture Forum and Pacific Telecommunications Council.
He has been featured in several leading Asian Telecommunication and Investment Publications.
Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of a number of Siemens Acceleration in Communications portfolio companies, including Mobile to Win, Magus Soft and Purple Ace.
He is also on the Advisory Board of the Silicon Valley Information Business Alliance (SVIBA).
Helmut Struss, a 1982 graduate of the Technical University of Bremen, Germany, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
