Jacques Darmon

Jacques Darmon is Chairman and CEO of Olympia Capital Holding, which he joined in 2003.
He is also President of Friedland Investissement and has been involved in the financial industry since 1987.
He started his career as Inspecteur des Finances and later became Assistant to the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Defense (1969-1973), Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry (1974-1977) and Deputy Minister of the Home Office (1978-1979).

Darmon has held various executive positions with Thomson?CSF industrial and technology group (now Thalès) from 1980 to 1986, then was Chairman and CEO of Banque de Financement et de Trésorerie in Paris from 1987 to 2003.
He has sat on the board of Editions du Seuil.
Jacques Darmon graduated from X-Ecole Polytechnique in Paris as well as from ENA-Ecole Nationale d'Administration and from ENSAE-Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique.
