The firm was founded by Richard Berg in 2008 and formerly known as Performance Trust Investment Advisors LLC. They are majority-owned and controlled by PTAM Holdings LLC and minority-owned by certain senior employees. PTAM provides discretionary investment management and advisory services to mutual funds and separately managed accounts.
