Mejia Trujillo, CFA MBA, is a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Ballentine Partners LLC.
In this role he supports all divisions of the firm whenever they require data curated, compiled and analyzed.
Some additional duties include compiling economic data and reports for client meetings, collaborating in the creation of proprietary research, developing and maintaining financial and asset allocation models, and implementing new software applications.
He is a member of our blockchain and cryptocurrency taskforce set up to build internal knowledge and educate clients.
He also provides investment support to a limited number of client relationships.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Mr. Mejia Trujillo worked as a Financial Advisor for a team of Ameriprise Financial advisors for eleven years.
After graduate school, he went on to become an integral part of the team working directly with clients to implement comprehensive financial plans and provide investment advice on a wide range of products.
Mr. Mejia Trujillo received BS degree in economics at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania after which he received an MBA from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA with concentrations in finance and IT.
In 2015, he became a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder and joined the CFA Society of South Florida.
In 2017 he became a Certified Financial Planner practitioner.
