Kenneth L. Matheny

Kenneth L.
Matheny has been Vice President of Investor Relations and Public Affairs for Marathon Oil Corp.
since January 2002.
Previously, he was Vice President of Investor Relations for USX Corporation from April 2000 to January 2002 and Vice President and Comptroller of USX Corporation from 1997 to 2000.
Prior to that position, he was Vice President of Human Resources and Environment for Marathon from 1994 to 1997 and Director of Human Resources from 1989 to 1994.
He was a Director of Corporate Finance from 1988 to 1989 for Marathon.
Mr. Matheny joined Marathon Oil Company in 1977 as an Advanced Tax Analyst.
Mr. Matheny is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Investor Relations Institute and the Petroleum Investor Relations Association.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Akron and an MBA from Bowling Green State University.
