Marty Felesenthal

Mr. Felesenthal joined Salix in September 1997.
He joined the health care investment banking group at Alex.
Brown & Sons in 1992.
At Alex.
Brown, he focused on the health care services and health care information technology sectors and worked extensively with companies in areas such as the clinical laboratory sector, the respiratory therapy sector, the pharmacy benefit management sector, the managed care sector, the contract rehabilitation sector, and the skilled nursing sector.
He has also worked with Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based leveraged buyout firm.
At Madison Dearborn,he focused on the buyout of the nation's largest provider of health care services to prisons and the second largest provider of emergency room physician staffing.
Mr. Felesenthal graduated from Princeton University in 1991 with a B.A.
from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and received his M.B.A.
from Stanford University in 1997.
He has also earned a degree as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
