Ms. Boyer joined LMIC, Inc. in February of 2003 where she is responsible for, among other things, Recruiting, Staffing, Compensation and Benefits, EEO & ER, Government Compliance, Payroll, OSHA, Risk Management and Facilities Management.
In addition to her regular duties, she has been tasked with coordinating business development efforts.
Prior to joining LMIC, Inc., Ms. Boyer served as Director of Admin.
and HR for QualStream, LLC and VTLinx, Inc., Silver Spring, Maryland-based high-tech start-up companies.
She was also Director of Human Resources for Digital System Resources, a federal contractor providing leading-edge sonar systems to the Navy through the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program.
In that position she became expert in federal compliance issues for small and mid-sized contractors.
Ms. Boyer began her HR career in the early Eighties as a Staffing Specialist in a policy office of the U.S.
Office of Personnel Management.
She has almost twenty-years of HR experience and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resource Management.
Ms. Boyer received a B.A.
in Social and Political Institutions from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
