Matt Shumacher

Prior to joining Boxwood, Mr. Shumacher was an Associate at Harris Williams & Co., where he executed M&A engagements for leading private equity firms and corporations in a diverse range of industries including energy and power, light manufacturing, infrastructure services, consumer products, and healthcare.
Previous experience includes work as a Management Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. where he advised senior executives on a variety of strategic planning projects as part of the Organizational Change Group and as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S.
Army.
Mr. Shumacher earned his M.B.A.
from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a B.A.
in Biology and Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College.
He lives in Richmond with his wife and family.
