Dr. Mirro is a Fellow, American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Physicians, and charter member of the Indiana Electrophysiology Society.
He has received board certification in internal medicine, cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology and geriatric medicine.
He serves as past president, Fort Wayne/Allen County Medical Society; is a past-member of the Board of Directors for Physicians Health Plan; past member of the Indiana State Medical Licensing Board; President of the Indiana Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and serves on the National ACC Government Affairs and Board of Governors Committee.
He is currently Treasurer of the Indiana State Medical Association.
Dr. Mirro has been actively involved in the Indiana business community and is past Chairman of the Board of Directors, Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and Past-Chairman of Economic Development Council, past member of the Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Development Alliance and currently serves on the Northeast Indiana Regional Corporate Council.
He is Co-Founder and Director of the Midwest Alliance for Health Education.
