Baker, CFA, is a Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Leith Wheeler Investment Counsel Ltd.
He joined Leith Wheeler in September 2016 to manage Private Clients and Foundation clients in its Toronto office.
He has over 20 years of experience.
Mr. Baker joined Leith Wheeler from the Toronto office of a large, New York-based multinational investment firm where he held various roles and titles including: Vice President, Investment Counsellor, Senior Director, Team Leader and member of the Board of Directors.
He also sat on their Investment Strategy and International Investment committees.
He has built extensive expertise as the trusted adviser to wealthy families and institutions and developed and implemented comprehensive investment strategies to meet their investment goals.
He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a joint degree in French and Economics.
He is a member of CFA Society Toronto and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
