Mike Millard

Mr. Millard joined Austin Ventures in 2008.
He is responsible for securing and validating market intelligence to assist in the overall due diligence decision process for potential investments or acquisitions.
His research activities focus on assessing the executive team, the competitive environment, and the market landscape as well as understanding key technical, legal, and financial aspects of future business opportunities.
Previously, Mr. Millard commercialized technology for AT&T Knowledge Ventures in Austin, Texas.
Prior to this, he worked in strategy roles at both HP and Dell, Inc. He is a mentor for the National Science Foundation for Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Commercialization, where he helps entrepreneurs prepare successful business plans for eventual commercialization.
Mr. Millard received his MBA from Western Illinois University and his BS from Illinois State University
