Nana Ayensu

Nana is responsible for origination, diligence, and execution of technology-enabled infrastructure transactions.
Nana brings over a decade of experience fusing technology, business strategy, and finance in order to create differentiated commercial value propositions and innovative solutions across the tech-enabled and sustainable infrastructure space.
He has held a diverse set of cross-functional leadership roles in infrastructure investing, business and market development, technology research, and policy analysis across the global energy, digital, and financial services sectors.
Prior to joining SIP, Nana was a Director of Sustainability Solutions at ENGIE Impact where he advised industrial and infrastructure clients on how to strategically accelerate their net-zero transitions.
He also was a Senior Director of Corporate Development at Uptake, a leading IoT startup providing AI-based solutions for heavy assets.
Furthermore, he spent nine years at GE, including at its Energy Financial Services business building fundamentals-based investment strategies for energy infrastructure projects and developing new commercial practice areas; at Antares Capital originating technology partnerships with its network of private-equity owned middle-market companies; and on GE's Edison Program at its Global Research Center creating a technoeconomic modeling practice to assess emerging energy storage and hybrid technologies and markets.
He has a MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a SB (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University.
