Prior to joining TCW in 1993, Mr. Sandler was a founding Principal in a leveraged fixed income investment fund from 1991 to 1993.
Before that, he was a Vice President with Security Pacific Bank, where his various responsibilities included US Government Bond trading and arbitrage; management of fixed income trading and sales in Tokyo, Japan; and management of mortgage-backed securities trading and sales.
Prior to that, he was an Institutional Futures and Options Broker with CM&M Futures and a Derivative Products Specialist at Continental Bank.
Mr. Sandler graduated cum laude from Drake University with a BA in Economics and Political Science.
