Nestor M. Nicholas

Mr. Nestor M.
Nicholas is General Counsel at Boston Capital Corp.
He has substantial experience in international business and tax matters, acting as principal legal advisor to a large, multinational pharmaceutical firm.
He has been a business and tax advisor for numerous domestic businesses and has lectured nationally on tax topics.
Before joining Boston Capital, Mr. Nicholas served as Co-Managing Partner at Nixon Peabody, where he directed and coordinated the various activities of the firm.
Prior to the merger of Peabody & Brown and Nixon Hargrave Devans & Doyle LLP in 1999, he served as Managing Partner of Peabody & Brown.
Before being elected Managing Partner, he served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and administrator of the Business Law Department.
He had been a partner of Peabody & Brown since 1972, concentrating in tax law.
Prior to 1972, he was an attorney for the Treasury and the Justice Departments in Washington, D.C.
He has a broad federal tax background and has worked extensively in the real estate and oil and gas tax shelter area in the preparation of memoranda and the structuring of transactions.
His experience includes representing partnerships before the Internal Revenue Service during audit.

from Brown University, an L.L.B from Cornell University Law School, L.L.B.
and an L.L.M.
from New York University.
