Omar Maher

Mr. Omar Maher is a Vice President of Telecom at EFG-Hermes Securities Brokerage.
He joined EFG Hermes Research in 2008 after completion of the company’s Investment Banking Programme (IBP) as a MENA Telecom analyst.
He now heads the Telecom sector team, covering telecom stocks listed in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco and the UK.
Prior to that, Mr. Maher worked on the initial public offering of Raya Contact Centre, which was listed on the Egyptian Exchange in April 2017.
He holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, which he obtained, simultaneously, from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, Egypt (2007) and Poitiers University, France.
