Mr. Sharma comes to CIG from Bear, Stearns & Co. where he was an Investment Banking Associate responsible for performing capital structure and valuation analyses, operational and financial due diligence as well as providing strategic advice.
Prior to joining Bear Stearns, he was with Bank of New York Mellon as Vice President, Business Management Group where he led teams responsible for business management and strategy development.
He has over nine years of leadership experience in investment banking, strategic planning and business development in the financial services sector.
Mr. Sharma holds two MBA’s: one from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Finance and Economics and one from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, India with a major in Finance and Statistics.
He also earned a Chemical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India.
Mr. Sharma and his wife Ruchika live in Jersey City, New Jersey.
