Raja Abdallah

Raja started his career as a project engineer at the Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd.
where he learnt all forms of traditional, alternative and renewable energy in addition to the economics and politics of large global power deals.
In 1994, Raja relocated to his native Lebanon to take part in the post-war reconstruction effort, joining a well-known industrial group as project manager, overseeing a USD125 Million construction materials production facility, from financing to design, procurement, supervision, commissioning and strict ESG compliance, under IFC and global bank loans.
In 1999, Raja relocated to Switzerland, where he joined the private banking arm of a top Middle-East banking group, then in full expansion across the MENA region, enabling him to master not just wealth management, capital markets and investment banking skills but most other banking verticals from corporate and retail to commercial and trade finance, earning the CFA qualification along the way.
In 2010, Raja returned to his native Lebanon, this time as an independent business consultant and financial advisor, taking on mandates across several industries, both in Lebanon and abroad, specializing mostly in family businesses, where he also advises on corporate governance and re-organization.
He also founded and still manages a micro-finance institution, dispensing loans to individuals and small businesses in Lebanon, under Central Bank license.
