The firm was founded in 2001 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wealth Enhancement Group LLC (WEG). In October 2019, private investment vehicles affiliated with TA Associates Management LP (TA Associates) acquired an indirect majority interest in WEG. WEAS provides investment advice to individuals, high net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and charitable organizations, corporations and other businesses, and pension and profit-sharing plans.

SVA Wealth Management LLC (SVA WM) is an investment advisory firm headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. They are owned by SVA Financial Group LLC, which is a subsidiary of Diversified Services of Wisconsin, Inc. The firm was originally founded as SVA Planners, Inc. in 1987 and became known as SVA Wealth Management, Inc. in January 2007. In 2011, SVA Wealth Management, Inc. reorganized and changed its name to SVA Plumb Wealth Management LLC and subsequently became SVA Wealth Management LLC in 2019. SVA WM provides investment management, financial planning, retirement plan and consulting services to individuals, high net-worth individuals, banking and/or thrift institutions, pension and profit-sharing plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, corporations and other business entities.
